WEC CCTV now Accredited to NHSS 19A
WEC CCTV successfully passed National Highway Sector Scheme 19A audit with flying colours!
We are delighted to announce that WEC CCTV has successfully passed the audit for the National Highway Sector Scheme 19A accreditation for painting processes.
The recent audit upgrades the company's scope of certification, and means we comply with the requirements of the scheme for workshop, industrial coating applications, abrasive blast cleaning and paint spraying.
National Highways Sector Schemes (NHSS) are bespoke quality management systems for organisations working on the UK road network, which comes together with our current ISO 9001:2008 certification.
The scheme aims to make sure that work is carried out to the highest standards of professionalism, using properly trained staff, as well as placing a strong emphasis on health and safety.
We work closely with Highways England and are also accredited to supply motorway structures in accordance with the National Highway Sector Scheme 6. This involves the design, manufacture and installation of structures including traffic signals and camera systems.
As a result, we recently manufactured 65 specially designed camera masts for the new Mersey Gateway Bridge between Runcorn and Cheshire.
We secured all three parts of the project to manufacture 9 trolley head masts, 40 tilt over radar masts, and 16 cantilever masts which straddle the highway and mount ANPR cameras.
WEC CCTV also successfully gained the ISO 9606-1:2017 welding accreditation last year in order to manufacture and supply stainless steel camera poles and accessories to Iraq. Our specialist export team worked around the clock for the approval, putting two of our welders forward for the assessment.
To discuss your camera mounting requirements, please feel free to contact us and we will be happy to assist.
